Last weekend the DAP elected Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo, Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, and Seremban MP Anthony Loke to the party’s top leadership. Party veteran Lim Kit Siang announced his retirement while his son Lim Guan Eng stepped down as secretary-general after the maximum three terms.
