Consider This: Anti-Hopping Bill - Bipartisan Consensus Achievable?

At the end of last week, the Government announced it was postponing the tabling of the Anti-Party Hopping Bill and the Bill to Limit the Tenure of the Prime Minister. The bill, which was one of the main conditions set by Pakatan Harapan in the MoU signed with Ismail Sabri’s Government, was due for tabling in the ongoing sitting which ends tomorrow. It has now been confirmed that the bill will be tabled and debated at a special sitting next month during Ramadhan, however no date has been specified.
