The long-awaited Anti-Party Hopping Bill is expected to be tabled during the upcoming Dewan Rakyat sitting which begins this Monday February 28th. An anti-defection law was one of the key institutional reforms promised in the MoU signed last year by Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s government with Pakatan Harapan -- and PH has warned that the MoU would be declared void if the anti-hopping bill was not tabled at the next parliamentary sitting.
