Kremlin hopes Putin can discuss Trump's China visit with Xi during his own imminent trip there

MOSCOW: President Vladimir Putin hopes to discuss U.S. President Donald Trump's recent visit to China with President Xi Jinping during the Russian leader's own imminent visit there, the Kremlin said on Friday.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that the details of Putin's own China visit, which he said would take place "really soon", has been agreed upon and that the exact dates would be announced soon.

Peskov said Putin and Xi would focus on bilateral ties amid solid trade volumes but also discuss international matters.
