IWD 2024 - Invest in women: Accelerate progress

International Women’s Day (IWD) is celebrated annually around the world on the 8th of March.

This year’s official theme is ‘Invest in Women, Accelerate Progress’, calling for urgent investments into the economic empowerment of women, acknowledging its central role in achieving SDG 5: Gender Equality.
