National sports commentator Datuk Hasbullah Awang died at the National Heart Institute (IJN) today at 1.30pm, believed to be due to heart complications.
Hasbullah who served as the sport commentator for Astro Arena since Jan 2014 was admitted to the IJN since last week.
The late Hasbullah made his name as a national and international sports commentator since the 1980.
Meanwhile, Sports and Youth Minister Khairy Jamaluddin in his tweet expressed his sadness over Hasbullah’s death.
