PAS has not ruled out contesting for DAP-held seats in the 14th general election (GE14).

Its vice-president, Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah said it is not wrong for PAS to contest for DAP seats since they are no longer cooperating in politics.

"The PAS Elections Department is conducting a study on the matter and if we find there is a good chance of winning, we will contest for the seats," he told reporters at his office at Kompleks Kota Darul Naim, here on Wednesday.

Asked about Parti Amanah Nasional's (Amanah) statement that PAS need not dream about remaining in power in Kelantan, Mohd Amar said it was Amanah who was dreaming since it is a new party with no political record.

"We have basis due to our political record in Malaysia but Amanah president (Mohamad Sabu) said he wants to wrest Kelantan and Terengganu.

"He (Mohamad Sabu) is the one dreaming," said Mohd Amar, who is also the Kelantan Deputy Menteri Besar.
