Investigation of a video purportedly of two teachers smooching turned out to be untrue as they were not teachers and it
did not involve any Education Ministry institution.

Its Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid said the video recording, which went viral on social site, was believed to have been shot eight years ago at a plantation in Segamat, Johor.

Nevertheless, the ministry would continue to investigate in identifying those involved in the video, he said in his latest posting on Facebook and Twitter.

The eight-minute video recording showed an intimate session of two individuals who were allegedly said to be teachers.

The action in the video, which was recorded by a man, was deemed immoral, and condemned by netizens.
