Traffic was reported to be smooth flowing on all major highways at 9.30am today.
A Plus Expressways Bhd spokesman said traffic was beginning to pick up from Seremeban to Nilai on the North-South Expressway and that a minor accident happened at Km15.3 from Putra Heights to Bandar Saujana Putra on the Elite Highway but did not disrupt traffic flow.
Meanwhile, the Malaysian Highway Authority said on its Twitter site that traffic was smooth flowing in both directions on the East Coast Highway.
The authority also said traffic was light in the city this morning but was expected to turn heavy in the evening as the exodus back the city starts following the end of the public holidays for the Chinese New Year.
