Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak hoped renowned Muslim preacher from India, Dr Zakir Naik would convey to the world the message that Malaysia is a country that practises moderation.

In his latest Facebook entry, the Prime Minister said Malaysia was constantly striving towards ummah unity to empower Islam.

Najib revealed he invited Dr Zakir for breakfast at his residence this morning.

Dr Zakir, 50, is in Malaysia to present talks on Islam and will be speaking at Bukit Jalil National Hockey Stadium tonight.
