Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar today confirmed that the couple who had harassed a female Shah Alam Municipal Council (MBSA) officer for issuing a parking ticket have been picked up by the police.

He said the couple who was picked up yesterday will be charged at the Shah Alam court today.





Yesterday, a video clip of a MBSA officer being harassed by the couple after being issued summons, went viral.

In the two-minute video, a woman clutched the officer’s shirt tightly and refused to let go until her summon was cancelled.
