Five students of Sekolah Kebangsaan Jalan Empat, Section 4, here were injured after the school's gazebo collapsed this afternoon.

According to Bangi Fire and Rescue Department, Deputy Commissioner Rosman Majid, they received a distress call at around 2.38pm.

"Based on our observation, the gazebo structure was in a poor condition and rickety,” he said to Astro AWANI, here today.

The students were then rushed to the Kajang Hospital for treatment.

Three of the victims have been discharged while two others are still receiving treatment.
