The body of a man who became the first flood victim in Sarawak was found at 8.16pm on Moday.

A Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the body of Judus Jalina, 20, was found by the search team consisting firemen and Department of Public Defence personnel about 150 metres from where he was reported missing.

He said the victim accidentally fell into a river while ploughing through floods to return to his house in Kampung Maang at 9 pm on Saturday.
