The Malaysian security forces killed another Sulu gunmen yesterday night, brining the total enemy "body count" to 54.
According to Sabah police commissioner Datuk Hamza Taib in a media conference in Lahad Datu this morning, the security forces also retrieved 22 bodies of gunmen from three operation areas, namely Kg Sri Siminul, Tanjung Batu and Kampung Tanduo.
He said that four bodies were taken out from Simunul water village in Semporna, 16 bodies were recovered in Tanjung Batu while two others in Kampung Tanduo.
The bodies were taken to Lahad Datu and Tawau Hospitals for post mortem.
