Sunday night at the MTV Movie Awards, the trailer for a new series based on the horror film franchise ‘Scream' played, promising gore and giggles as usual.

Based on a story of cyber-bullying that leads to murder, the series stars a cast of unknowns hoping to win our hearts with gross-out humor.

'Scream' movie creator Wes Craven participates in the direction and key players include Tony DiSanto, Liz Gately, Marianne Maddalena and Cathy Konrad.
