The Public Service Department (PSD) today dismissed as untrue news circulating on the social media of an increase in the salaries and allowances of civil servants.

In a statement, PSD advised those who received the news not to circulate it.

News that civil servants would receive a salary increase on Jan 1 next year has been circulating on the social media.
