Nissan loves their EVs, now their hard work has paid off. By Jerrica Leong
 

Nissan has the honour of being named Ultra Low Emission Vehicle Manufacturer of the Year at the Fleet Hero Awards. The Energy Saving Trust committee awarded the brand for their ongoing leadership of the ULEV sector in the face of growing competition from other carmakers.
 

Let’s just say that even in Malaysia the Nissan LEAF is taking off, so it’s not a surprise that the LEAF is becoming even more popular with fleet operators and business car drivers everywhere. The brand launched the all electric e-NV200 van earlier this year to continue their work in order to continue their commitment to electric vehicle technology. Nissan hopes that the e-NV200 is set to revolutionise the commercial vehicle sector.

The award was handed to Nissan at the Institute of Directors in London where Barry Beeston, Corporate Sales Director at Nissan Motor (GB) expressed their delight to have been honoured by the Energy Saving Trust.
