KUALA LUMPUR:Sabah still recorded the highest number of daily cases with 259 cases followed by the states in the Klang Valley with 202 cases.
A total of 822 new positive COVID-19 cases were recorded today, bringing the cumulative number of cases to 42,872.
Here are five focus of the press conference by the Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah today:
1) Of the 822 new cases recorded today, seven were import cases involving one citizen and six non-citizens.
2) A total of 769 recovery cases were recorded today, bringing the total number of recovered cases in the country to 31,073.
3) Sabah also recorded the highest number of recovered cases with 533, followed by Selangor 98 cases and Negeri Sembilan 36 cases.
4) Two deaths were recorded today involving victims aged 22 years and 67 years in Sabah.
5) Three new clusters were identified; Karamunting Cluster, Saga Cluster and Haven Cluster.
