These bodies will be cremented via a temporarily burial.
"A meeting was held on the March 18 has decided that all terrorist corpses will be buried temporarily because of health reasons that may arise and lack of Hospital morgue in Tawau and Lahad Datu," he added.

In the same press conference, Armed Forces Chief, Tan Sri Mohd Zin Zulkifeli, said that the mopping and flushing operation in Kampung Tanjung Batu will take a few days before the people of Tanjung Batu are allowed to return home.
This is due to land factors outside the area of Tanjung Batu as oil palm plantations, mangrove and swamps which makes the processes of tracking down the enemies will be difficult and require some times.
